2007 Saturn Aura Green Line Rating: 8.00
The Saturn Aura Green Line is a hybrid vehicle that actually looks stylish. Small wonder then it was named the North American Car of the Year by a number of the media. It's surprisingly roomy and as you might imagine, it's impressive with the mpg crowd. We actually averaged 28.5 city and 34.5 highway with this particular model.

WHAT YOU'LL LIKE: Two words: fuel savings. The Hydra-Matic four-speed transmission was sharp and responsive and the coasting power of this vehicle was unlike anything I've ever driven. Excellent for saving fuel in that bumper to bumper traffic. And it's one of the better-looking hybrids on the market.

WHAT YOU WON'T LIKE: You can't tow anything with this vehicle which is not surprising because it is a hybrid. With a MRSP of $22,695, you can't expect a luxurious treatment in the interior and this model was fairly spartan in its decor & design. Acceleration was choppy and not always the smoothest. When the EMG takes over, it's a bit disconcerting when it feels like the car has cut off but again, it's the nature of the beast.

RATING: We'll go with 8.00 on a scale of 10. The Aura Green Line is what it is. A good-looking ride that will save you some money at the pump and maybe turn some heads.
