A Two-time Emmy award winner and broadcasting veteran of 22 years, Kyle Osborne is an original member of the NewsChannel 8 staff who came to the Washington D.C. area in 1991.
For two decades, Kyle has simultaneously held jobs in the two fields he loves the most: weather forecasting and entertainment reporting. His weekly program, the Entertainment Forecast, has featured his one-on-one interviews with hundreds of famous entertainers, including dozens of Oscar winning actors. He is a voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
As a weathercaster, Kyle has worked in every time zone across the country, covering every kind of weather from hurricanes to blizzards.
Kyle started his career as a teenager working for the Armed Forces Network in Europe. A proud father of two daughters, he enjoys running every day and boogie-boarding at the beach as often as possible.
